Like most people, my skin's always extra dry in the winter. Factor in the second showers required after my evening hot vinyasas, and my poor skin is parched! I stumbled on this recipe for whipped coconut oil lotion when I was perusing pinterest, and now I'm hooked! It's simple to make, leaves my skin feeling silky smooth and smells oh so good! It's especially delicious and indulgent right before bed--slather it on, cozy up under the covers, close your eyes and drift away to someplace tropical...
Here's what you do:
Put a cup of coconut oil (solid form) and a teaspoon of vitamin e oil in a bowl and use an electric mixer to whip it up until it's light a fluffy. Spoon into an airtight container to store. That's it!
